Team Registration

TEAM REGISTRATION FALL/WINTER 2009-10

Due via email no later than midnight on Saturday, July 4, 2009. If your team misses this deadline we will accept your registration as "Late" up to midnight on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. A late registration fee of $100 will be applicable. Payment MUST be received in our Office by Saturday, July 11th at 12 Noon to ensure your team has a place for the Fall/Winter Season. Teams who have not paid by this date will not have a spot in the 2009/10 season.

Please complete the forms below and send them to us. Click on the "Submit" button. Both forms are independant of each other so make sure you complete them both. Incomplete forms will be sent back and your team will not be considered registered until they are resubmitted.

Fall/Winter 2009-10 - Instructions

Play will start on Friday September 11, 2009. If you are a new team you must supply a field to play your games on. In Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam, fields are provided by the League depending on availablility. In all other cities and municipalities teams/clubs must contact their local Parks Board for fields. Returning teams will receive priority over new teams for field allocation.

Team Registration Procedures

The MWSL and the BC Soccer Assn. registration form are online, below. Make sure you fill in BOTH of these forms completely. These forms are received separately at our Office. The MWSL form remains with the League. The BC Soccer form is sent to BC Soccer. Your team's name must be the same as it was the previous season unless you have asked the League for permission to change it. Make sure you have two contact people with separate phone numbers and email addresses. Press SUBMIT to send us a copy. Print a copy of what you filled in and keep it for your records.
We only want 1 person to send in the information from your team.

PLEASE NOTE - NEW TEAMS APPLYING FOR FALL/WINTER 2009-10 WILL BE REGISTERED IN THE LEAGUE SUBJECT TO SPACE IN THE CURRENT LEAGUE STRUCTURE AND IN DATE ORDER. NEW TEAMS MUST PAY BY THE DEADLINE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE FALL SEASON.

Payment

After you have submitted us your Team Registration information follow that up with a CHEQUE for one of the amounts shown above, depending on which is applicable to your team. Make the cheque payable to the MWSL. Mail it to - MWSL 6501 Sprott Street, Burnaby, BC, V5B 3B8. Deadline for receiving payment is Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 12 Noon.

Player regisration will be online late July. Complete details will be forwarded to you later in July.

Player Registration

This will be done ONLINE by individual players. NO FORMS, NO MAILING DOCUMENTS BACK AND FORTH, ETC. ETC. Online registration of players is not available until you are advised.

Player Registration Costs

All Players $35.00. Player ID Card $5.

Other Information

Teams must have a field in order to play. Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam and Surrey (some teams) will have a field provided by the League. Surrey based teams that are a member of a club must get their field from their club. There is a cost for these fields between $200 for grass and up to $900 for Artificial Turf for the season. Costs vary depending on where your team is located. If your teams plays outside of these areas you must contact your Parks Board ASAP and secure a field.
