Discipline
What happens when I get a Red Card or asked to leave the field by the Referee?
- You must leave the field immediately and the side line area.
- You automatically miss the next League or Cup game played by your team.
- You will be contacted by the Discipline Chairperson who will ask you, in most cases, to come in for a hearing with the Discipline committee. These hearings are regularly scheduled for Saturdays at the League office.
- You do not have to come to your hearing with the discipline committee, but in most cases, it is in your best interests to do so. If you are unable to come to your hearing you can email or mail in your statement of the events that led to you getting a red card.
What happens when I accumulate 3 or more Yellow Cards in a season?
- A player that accumulates 3rd yellow cards in one season will be assessed a one (1) game suspension and will have to sit out their team's next League or Cup game.
- A player that receives a 4th and 5th yellow card in one season shall be assessed a one (1) game suspension and will have to sit their team's next League or Cup game.
- A player that receives a 6th yellow card in one season shall be assessed a two (2) game suspension and will have to sit out two (2) of their team's next League or Cup games.
- A player that receives a 7th yellow card in one season shall be assessed a five (5) game or 30 day suspension, whichever comes first, and will have to sit out 5 (5) of their team's next League or Cup games.
All game suspensions shall be carried over from one season to the next if not served prior to the completion of the season it was issued in.
Player suspensions are also applied to games played when registered to play for another team.
