A very happy group of 30 something or more women who have just won the Silver group championship. In a very tight game between 2 evenly matched teams the Posse were victorious with a 2 -1 shootout win over the Chilliwack Lunachicks.
This Saturday, May 10th the Provincial Championships for Women and Men are being held in Chilliwack. The three categories are U-21, Classics (over 35) and Senior Open. The U-21 and Senior Open games are all MWSL teams. In the first game of the day it is Westside FC playing Surrey United FC. This game goes at 10 AM at Exhibition Stadium with Surrey United three time Provincial champions defending their title. Westside FC has been the underdog in their last 2 Cup games and has found a way to win both games. Look for a cmpetitive game between these two Premier teams. Read More.
